The story of YUIICHIMI
From a Single Seed to the World
The story of YUIICHIMI begins with a single seed—carefully preserved for over a century in the rural town of Karatsu, Saga Prefecture.
This rare heirloom chilli was safeguarded within Miyazaki-san’s family, never shared beyond it. As a child, she often wondered,
“Why does my grandmother’s chilli taste so different—so alive?”
Its flavour was sharp yet deep, rich yet gently sweet—unlike anything else.
One day her grandmother said, “I’m getting old. I think it’s time to stop farming.” In that moment she knew: this tradition must not end.
From her great-grandfather to her grandmother, and now to her, the cultivation of this precious chilli lives on—one seed at a time.



YUIICHIMI's Philosophy
Crafted without added preservatives, artificial colours or flavours.
They cultivate each chilli with careful field management and minimal, well-targeted inputs. Working in step with local seasons and soils, they aim to bring out each ingredient’s natural character.
The wheat used in their noodles is managed with the same respect—for the soil, the surrounding environment, and the communities who steward the land.
Every grain, every chilli, every finished product reflects their commitment to quality, transparency and responsible sourcing.

While YUIICHIMI focuses on what they do best — growing and crafting exceptional chilli products in Karatsu — YUI GLOBAL FLAVOR Co., Ltd. oversees the complete export process to bring these products to global markets.
Established in 2025 as a dedicated export company, we connect artisanal production with international markets through reliable, detail-oriented operations.
Our founder was originally a business consultant supporting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises in Japan,
but was profoundly inspired by YUIICHIMI’s authenticity and its unwavering philosophy of craftsmanship.
Amid rapid global change, she began to ask deeper questions —
What should we preserve?
How should we live and create as humans in an age shaped by technology?
From that reflection, the idea of YUI GLOBAL FLAVOR was born.
